At the 3rd Annual Health Professions Education Conference at Royal City Garden Hotel, Kisumu, a keynote address by Professor Mzee Awuor Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Planning and Finance), Kisii University emphasized the imperative role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming health professions education.

 Having had a vast academic and leadership experience, Prof. Awuor highlighted the need to include AI-based tools to enhance teaching, learning, and research in healthcare. 

The theme of the conference is Embracing Digital Transformation in Health Professions Education. His address invited the participants to use technology in developing more responsive, data-driven, and people-centered future medical education systems.
